An alumnus of Y Combinator (summer 2018) and Microsoft BizSpark (2014-2017), our mission is to simplify your digital life by making it easier for you to search, organize, manage and use all your personal digital content – regardless of where it is stored. Our products unify different data storage locations, content types and usage models.
Privacy is our foundational principle. While our products embrace the cloud, all indexing and processing happens on your own computer. We designed our products from the ground up to provide the guarantee: nothing about your data ever touches our servers.
The Founder: Rajesh Shah is the founder and CEO of Datamaton Inc. Before launching the company, he worked at Intel for 18 years in multiple senior technical and management roles. His work there involved extensive collaboration with dozens of major technology companies like Microsoft, HP, Dell, IBM, Sun, VMWare, EMC, Fujitsu, RedHat etc. Datamaton was born from his repeated observations of the growing “data sprawl” and “app sprawl” – and the vital need for tools to manage it effectively.
